Hello! My name is Hilda, and I am a caring, responsible, and creative educator with years of experience working with children and families. I currently teach 4th grade, which has given me a deep understanding of child development, patience, and the ability to adapt to different personalities and needs. I offer child care, pet care, and household support services that are dependable, safe, and tailored to each family’s needs.
Child Care
I have cared for children of all ages (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged learners). With infants and toddlers, I focus on safety, comfort, and establishing routines. With preschoolers, I love supporting early learning through play, songs, and simple crafts. With older children, I encourage independence and enjoy helping with homework, reading, and fun projects. I especially enjoy activities like arts and crafts, outdoor games, music, and storytime, as well as creating fun, screen-free activities. In addition to babysitting, my teaching background allows me to support academic skills with tutoring and homework help. I am also comfortable cooking simple, healthy meals for children. I have CPR/First Aid training and strong classroom management skills, ensuring children are safe and cared for in every situation.
Pet Care
I have experience caring for a variety of pets including dogs,and small animals. I am very allergic to cats. I provide walking, feeding, playtime, and basic care to ensure pets are happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I am comfortable with large dogs. Whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or simply making sure they get love and attention, I treat pets like part of the family.
Household Services
Along with child and pet care, I can assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, running errands, and organizing spaces. I know how helpful it can be to have support in keeping a home running smoothly, and I am flexible to meet each family’s needs.
