I am a Division I football player at Stonehill College and an extremely optimistic, positive person who is always looking for opportunities to better myself while caring for others. I have over five years of experience caring for seniors, as I helped take care of my grandmother, which taught me patience, responsibility, and compassion. I am comfortable assisting seniors with daily tasks and can also provide transportation if driving is needed. I am great with pets and have owned two dogs over the years, along with dog-sitting multiple times. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing with dogs, and caring for both large dogs and those that shed. Around the house, I am experienced with cleaning, organizing, doing laundry, and running errands upon request. I truly enjoy providing senior care because it allows me to help improve the quality of life for loved ones who may need extra support. I also have a good amount of childcare experience, as I have frequently babysat for family and friends. My name is Arielys (Ari for short) and I wanted to reach out about babysitting opportunities for your family. I grew up in a home where my mom runs a daycare, so I’ve truly been around children my entire life. Being in that environment every day gave me a natural comfort and familiarity with kids of all ages. Around the age of 13, I started developing a stronger interest in childcare and began helping out whenever I had time off from school eventually becoming an assistant for her. Since then, I’ve continued working with children from the newborn stage through toddler years, which is where I feel especially confident. I’ve built strong relationships with several families through my mom’s daycare and have consistently babysat for about 3–4 families. I genuinely love working with babies and infants, but I also enjoy engaging with older children and supporting their growth in different ways. In addition, I’m currently a student at Northeastern University studying Human Services, with the goal of becoming a foster care and adoption social worker or working in child welfare. As part of my experience, I’ve also worked with children ages 7–14 in a residential group home, which has strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, and supportive in a variety of situations.Overall, I really enjoy being around kids and helping families however I can.
