I come from a big, loving family of ten children—six of whom are adopted from all over the world—which means I grew up surrounded by lots of personalities, laughter, and life lessons! I’ve been working with kids in all kinds of settings for years, and caring for others has always come naturally to me. I started babysitting at 15, and soon after spent a full year helping out at a daycare with children ranging from 9 months to 8 years old. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my experience in different environments. As well as being the oldest child in my family. For the past five summers, I’ve been a sleep away camp counselor, teaching kids how to sailing and living with kids ages 6 to 14 for up to eight weeks at a time.
