I grew up in a home where my mom runs a daycare, so I’ve truly been around children my entire life. Being in that environment every day gave me a natural comfort and familiarity with kids of all ages. Around the age of 13, I started developing a stronger interest in childcare and began helping out whenever I had time off from school eventually becoming an assistant for her. I am very patient and excel at building trust and rapport with children. I have an associate's and a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and am currently working toward a master's degree in Social Work. My educational background constantly aids me in understanding the differing needs of children of different age groups. I have previously taught art classes and worked as the program coordinator for an after school program. I have experience with children who have ADHD and ASD in my own family and through working with them in schools. I am well versed in animal body language and have experience giving pets medication.
