My current nanny position is in Salem, NH, which is about 45 minutes from my home. I am looking for a full time Nanny position. I start at $25/hr depending on the amount of children and the circumstances. When a child is struggling or acting out, I believe in taking the time to understand what they are communicating rather than simply reacting to the behavior. I use a variety of positive behavioral techniques that help me connect with children and respond to them in ways that are appropriate for their age and individual needs. Understanding how a child’s developing brain processes emotions, communication, and experiences allows me to approach challenging moments with patience and compassion. Every child is different, and I believe in learning who each child is and finding the approach that works best for them. I also enjoy reading books, singing, talking with them, and going outside for walks and fresh air. Toddlers: I enjoy sensory activities, introducing ABCs, counting to 10, learning colors, and beginning to introduce the days of the week and months of the year.
