When my husband passed away unexpectedly while I was pregnant with our baby girl, I had to step away from work in order to show up for our daughter in the way I felt she needed. As I’m waiting to feel like we’re both ready for me to return to my career, I’m looking for part-time nanny work to help support the two of us in a way that allows me to be with her. Grief and single motherhood, as difficult as they have been, have opened my heart up to be a more empathetic, more mindful, and more patient human. My professional background in naturopathic medicine not only certifies me in CPR and basic & naturopathic first aid but also gives me extensive knowledge of nutrition to prepare homemade meals for your child - I believe this niche makes up for my limited paid childcare experience! I’d also be a great fit for a family planning to have a second child that would like their first exposed to a younger baby. My daughter already loves to play with kids! I know how hard it is to leave your child in someone else’s care during such critical years. hi!! My name is Grace. I am one of 8 kids so I have grown up watching my younger siblings a lot. I have been babysitting in my neighborhood since I was 14 years old for different families with ages ranging from 2-11 years old. I branched out and started watching other kids in the county and city. I also work through Baltimore County with a summer school program for kids ages 5-14 where I watch over 30 kids and coordinate activities for them.

I’m looking for a job taking care of 1 or 2 children during the week (plus Saturday if needed but preferably just working weekdays). I was a nanny for 2 children, almost 2 and 4. We spent our mornings playing, going to the park, reading, and doing crafts. Both parents work from home, so we all had lunch together and then put the children to nap, after nap they get a healthy snack and we play some more! I started this job when they were 6 months and 1 and a half in the summer of 2024. I just finished up my last day on Halloween, so I am looking to start work asap if possible (although not required, I would be willing to find something else for the time being until ready for me to start) Before I was a nanny, I worked at a before/after school daycare, plus a summer camp run by the same company. We would play, set up different toys every day, do crafts, get healthy snacks, and go outside when the weather was alright. At summer camp we mostly spent the whole day outside. There was a tree fort, pool days, hiking, sports, crafts, biking, etc! There were special weekly events where we went to the arcade, roller skating, and ice skating. There were children preschool to freshman year of high school at the summer camp. I have also worked as a cashier, online order picker/packer, and busser, so I have experience with cleaning tasks as well.
