Janice $22 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m a dependable and experienced caregiver with 9 years of hands on childcare experience. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with families in a variety of roles from babysitting and tutoring, to leading groups of kids at summer camp and afterschool programs. I’ve cared for children who are up to 16 years old (mostly school aged children aged 5-12), and I genuinely enjoy creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them to grow and thrive. Whether it’s helping with homework, making dinner, cleaning up, putting them to bed, heading out to the park, or even binge watching their favorite movies on repeat (you would not believe how many times I’ve seen The Minions movies lol), I’m there with patience, energy, and a smile. I’ve also worked as an in home tutor for five years, specializing in Chinese, English, and math, which means I’m well versed in keeping kids focused and engaged academically, too. In addition to childcare, I have a lifelong love for animals. I grew up with five pit bulls in my home and have always been comfortable around pets of all kinds. I’ve petsat for friends and family, sometimes for up to two months at a time; making sure their pets were well cared for, exercised, fed, and loved while they were away. Families know me as approachable, responsible, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of the kids and pets I care for. I bring heart, structure, and flexibility to every home I step into, and I’m always ready to help however I can.

Lilla $23 per hour for 1 child

I am in my final year of teacher training, and as I look back on my journey so far, I realize how much working with kids has shaped who I am. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in both elementary and high school, and it has been amazing to watch students grow, learn, and gain confidence in themselves. For eight years, I have also babysat for several families, caring for children ages 2 to 12, which taught me how important it is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. My involvement in scouting has been another huge part of my life—over the past ten years, I’ve worked with kids from 6 to 18, guiding them through challenges, adventures, and leadership opportunities. I even spent time in Colorado working at the YMCA, leading outdoor lessons for kids ages 8 to 16, which combined two things I love most: teaching and being outside. Across all of these experiences, one thing has become clear—I am most fulfilled when I’m working with kids. Being outdoors, learning alongside them, and helping them discover their strengths makes me feel like I am truly following my passion in life.

$22 per hour for 1 child

Hello Families! My name is Gina, I’m an experienced and nurturing caregiver. I am truly passionate about early development and always look for fun and engaging ways to connect with the children in my care. With safety as my main priority, I’m a hands on caregiver ! I love to get down and play, read, sing 🎶, dance or paint. I’m always available to facilitate and inspire fun! My goal when I’m caring for children is that they feel safe, heard and loved. My experience ranges from group care, newborn, overnight newborn care, live-in, infant/ toddler and mixed age siblings. I just updated my CPR/First Aid and I have updated vaccines, so I look forward to supporting all of your care and coverage needs. Sincerely, Ms Gina-Weena ☺️

Gina was our daughter's full-time nanny from 8 months of age to 16 months. We unfortunately had to say good-bye, due to our family moving out of the area. She has been such a calm and joyful presence in our home. When our daughter transitioned from baby to toddlerhood, she had a gentle and patient approach with toddler tantrums. She reinforced boundaries, without ever raising her voice. She planned activities for our daughter and took her all over town to fun museums and cafes. She also cooked delicious meals/snacks for our daughter, and exposed her to new foods. We appreciated that she treated our family with respect, and was always open to feedback. Most importantly to us, she loved our daughter and was incredibly nurturing towards her. We knew our daughter was safe and well-taken care of in her custody. They had a great bond. I can't recommend Gina highly enough!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
