Hi, I’m Brianna! I’m a D.C. area native, preschool teacher, & lifelong lover of all things creative, fun, and family-oriented. My journey with children started back in high school when I began babysitting. What started as something I enjoyed quickly turned into a passion and eventually led me to start my own nannying business! Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children from newborns all the way through their teenage years, giving me experience with a wide variety of ages, personalities, routines, and family needs. Hello Families! Like most of us, I have been babysitting long before I was getting paid to do so, and I've always enjoyed it. I have 8 years of professional/paid babysitting experience under my belt and I love my jobs! I also have volunteer hours at orphanages and pre-k classrooms, which were very educative and fulfilling. I enjoy the interaction with the children and the flexibility these jobs have to offer a student like myself. I spent some years schooling outside of the States, which has molded me into well rounded, open-minded individual . I display responsibility and reliability on and off the job and an easy-going personality to be around. Previous employers describe me as very sweet, yet assertive with the children. I am energetic and playful enough to get down on all fours and play Space Explorers with the kids I babysit, yet mature enough to take charge and maintain control. I enjoy playtime and being active (i.e. trips to the park) with children, but I do see it as my duty to engage them mentally while they are in my care. I limit TV watching and enjoy reading to them and doing other age appropriate educational activities. I primarily take on one-time/occasional/date-night/overnight/traveling sitting jobs. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can also be a lifesaver in last minute and short notice situations. I look forward to working with you :)

Hi Families! I’m Khady, I’m a third year student at Howard University. I currently reside in Noma. I’m originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and I’ve been babysitting for about eight years. I got my Red Cross babysitting and CPR/First Aid certification at 12, and since then, I’ve been working with newborns up to teenagers. I’m experienced with all ages, but I especially love working with toddlers from 3 months to 5 to 6 years old. I also have a lot of experience with special needs, especially ASD and ADHD. I’ve worked with many families, providing date nights and backup care, and I’ve had several consistent nanny families over the years. I’m also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and spent a year and a half at UNC Rex Hospital NICU, where I gained my experience with newborns. This included maintaining feeding schedules, swaddling, and creating a calm and safe environment. For two summers, I also worked as a camp counselor at the YMCA, working with kids from preschool through grade school, and I absolutely loved it. I enjoyed spending time outdoors, going to the pool, taking trips to the park, and keeping the children occupied with fun activities without screen time. I truly enjoy what I do and love making my clients and kids happy every day. I always go the extra mile and truly enjoy building strong relationships with my families and the kids I work with.
