As the oldest, I naturally stepped into a role that was a mix of big sister, helper, protector, and built-in babysitter for my younger brothers. A lot of who I am today comes from those experiences like helping with homework at the kitchen table, making meals, keeping routines together, comforting my siblings when they were upset, and learning how much patience and consistency matter to children. That’s honestly what inspired me to continue into babysitting outside of my family over the last 4 years. For me, childcare has never felt like simply “watching kids.” I genuinely love creating environments where children feel emotionally safe, comfortable, understood, and free to be themselves.
