I've been working with children since my first job as a lifeguard when I was 16. I have most experience teaching swimming to children from infancy (parent assisted) through school-aged kids. I've taught at a public and private pool. I also have 2 years experience working as a private home tutor for a 3 year old child with special needs, where I was trained daily & weekly to meet their needs and adjust play/learning techniques to build their language and communication skills. I am recent experience as a teacher for infants at a daycare/preschool center where i was for just under 2 years. This job required me to create and implement a monthly lesson plan involving speech, art and motor development activities, serving meals, changing the children regularly, and just plain old having fun.
