Having worked at several NAEYC-accredited Child Development Centers, I have garnered valuable expertise in this field. I spent 5 years at a Child Development Center, 3 1/2 of which I served as a permanent assistant teacher before progressing to the roles of Lead Teacher for both the toddler and infant programs. I successfully completed my AA in Early Childhood Education in June 2023 and plan to further my education by pursuing a bachelor's degree. However, I made a career move to The Goddard School in November 2023, initially as a Two-Year-Old Teacher and was eventually promoted to Assistant Director in March 2024. At the conclusion of August, I transitioned from the Goddard School and resumed my role as a Lead Infant Teacher at Kindercare. I am a nurse for 50 years (did I just say that? wow!) and I often work catering for her her restaurant. So not only do I love kids and pets but I love interior design, keeping kids engaged, playing with dogs and cats, taking care of the home and find myself organizing as I move along the house, giving the kids activities, being support to their parents, find peace in doing laundry, prepping for events, helping to host and serve at events, throwing kids birthday parties, decorating for weddings and social gatherings, love attending sports events and bringing the kids to the parks and play dates, and encourage manners, positive activities, and being an "auntie".
