Hi! My name is Samiya, and I have a true passion for caring for children and helping them grow in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with over three years of experience working with children of different ages and abilities through babysitting and behavioral therapy. I also have experience as a Mental Health Technician (MHT), which has strengthened my communication, patience, problem-solving, and caregiving skills. I’m currently pursuing my degree in psychology, which has given me an even deeper understanding of child development and positive behavior support.
I enjoy planning engaging activities like arts and crafts, reading, games, outdoor play, and educational activities that keep children entertained while encouraging learning and creativity. I’m also happy to help with homework, meal preparation, bedtime routines, diaper changes, light housekeeping, and pet care. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable leaving their children with someone they can trust, so I always strive to provide dependable, attentive, and compassionate care.
