Jouel $22 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Jouel, and I’ve been caring for children for the past seven years. I started babysitting for family and friends, and over time, it turned into something I truly enjoy and have become really confident in. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, and I’m comfortable handling everything from diaper changes and bedtime routines to homework help and fun, engaging activities. I always aim to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where kids feel supported and parents feel at ease. I’m reliable, patient, and I understand how important it is to tailor my care to each child’s personality and needs. I’d love the opportunity to bring that same care and energy to your family!

Aigne $25 per hour for 1 child

I have extensive experience working with children across various early childhood settings. I have served in multiple daycare centers, each for a duration of 3–7 months, where I supported daily classroom activities and provided consistent care to young learners. In addition to my formal roles, I have assisted family members and friends with childcare, further strengthening my skills in nurturing and supervising children of different ages. I am currently pursuing my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential through Teachstone to deepen my knowledge of early childhood education I am almost at the finish line ( yay!). I also currently work as an before- care and after-school teacher with KinderCare Champions, where I support and teach children ages 3–5 in a Montessori based school to develop key principles like independence, and hands on experiences which is child lead. I also throw some of my own structured learning in the mix with practice writing the basic but we are mainly Montessori.

$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in District Heights, MD

Hi, I’m Eliza! I’m the oldest of four sisters, so taking care of little ones has been a part of my life from a young age! I have hands-on experience with children of different ages. I cared for a newborn for almost a year and also looked after a 7-year-old girl for a year. Currently, I work full-time caring for a newborn and a toddler, but I’m available to weekends and weeknights babysitting opportunities. I’m certified in CPR and have completed a specialized course in newborn care. I have experience with everything from feeding, bathing, and playing to putting children to sleep and driving them safely when needed. I truly love working with babies and toddlers. I believe each stage of childhood is special, and I’m well-prepared to support and care for children with love, patience, and responsibility. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, and experienced to care for your little ones, I’d be happy to help!

Eliza was wonderful; she arrived right on time, got the kids fed, and even came prepared with a fun activity (balloons to make balloon animals), which our kids absolutely loved and are already begging for her to come back. What impressed us most is that she successfully put both kids to bed, which can be genuinely challenging in our house and is where many babysitters struggle. She was also very communicative both before the job and throughout the evening, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
