Ciana $17 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Ciana I'm a 25 years old and I've been working with kids on and off since I was about 10. My most recent professional experience was working at the YMCA for over a year. I wore numerous of 'hats' such as playground partner (glorified PE teacher), basketball coach, Transitional Kindergarten TA /support staff, and camp counselor. As for 'unprofessional' experience I occasionally watch my little cousins 6 years old and 14 months, feeding, entertaining and teaching them new and old things. I've been trusted to take care of my sister's two cats and my dads dog when they're out of town. I take caring for kids seriously as presence, community and communication are essentially in a child's development. My conviction is children are our reflections any child I'm around keeps me honest and the situation given to them honest. The opportunity to be a part of a child's development is something I don't take lightly, because who they are and who they're becoming isn't accidental. The greatest things I've gotten from working with children is the demand to be myself, love carelessly and eliminate my life long fear of spiders. Working with kids, has given me direct feedback on how to create and sustain safe spaces for children. I love being physically active doing things like going on walks, checking out museums, local parks, amusement parks, road trips, working out and I'm currently looking to take on new recreational sports/ hobbies like soccer, bowling, coding, and public speaking. I love a wide range of music, film and photography. If you consider me as someone to take care of your child, thank you. :)

I like taking care of children and spending time to play with them , teach them new things or going to the park, coloring books, sing ,dance,or whatever they like to make them feel friends with me,I’m very nice person and kind , every child would like me once meeting, being a caregiver makes me feel great ,when I’m taking care of someone like child, senior,or doing things for them like shopping, cooking, any house duties and being a caregiver or a babysitter is the best thing because it’s makes me feel like an hero for families in needs, I’ll never disappoint anyone who will choose me, I know sometimes it’s not easy to believe someone you just picked from the application to take care of your children or anyone from your family because most of the people are not good enough or don’t really like children but I want to tell the future family who will accept me to not be afraid because I’m a married woman who knows the meaning of family or what means to take care of someone, how to treat them, how to make them feel good or happy , this work is not only about money but also about love, I enjoy meeting new people and making them feel special ,why not to assit them to any tasks of daily living, feeding, bathing, cooking, the family who will choose me will makes me feel special and important because of their awareness from me . One more thing I want to share is that I’m new in the application but I used to work as a caregiver for almost 4 years , I know it’ll not be easy for a lot of parents to choose me because of that but I know and believe that one family will like me and choose me. thanks for your reading and hope seeing you soon and I hope you to choose me as your ear and eyes .🥰

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in District Heights, MD

Hi! My name is Gabriella and I have previous experience looking after groups of children, as well as pet care. Previously, I have looked after groups of 5 or more children in summer camp settings, as well as previously serving as a virtual tutor for young children. I am a dog lover and I also have been trusted to look after friends pets! I love to read, play mahjong with friends and learn new languages! I look forward to connecting with you.

Gabriella was early to our trial day and immediately connected with my children. She was extremely professional and thoughtful as she got comfortable with our kids and parenting style. Her communication was excellent throughout our engagement. My kids were sad when she had to leave. I look forward to having Gabriella babysit in the future!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
