Selene $16 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m 19 and a mom to a 5-month-old baby boy. I have several years of hands-on childcare experience from helping care for my four younger siblings, including overnight care, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines and responsibilities. I’m experienced with feeding, diaper changes, naps, playtime, and bathing, and I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and caring environment for children. I’m patient, reliable, and friendly, and while I can be a little shy at first, I warm up quickly and build strong, trusting connections. I also have experience working in a nursing home setting, which has given me skills in supporting others with care, patience, and respect. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to help with light housekeeping, laundry, and small errands to make things easier for families. I’m available for local, in-home opportunities and am reliable with transportation within my area. I may also be open to bringing my baby along if a family is comfortable, as it can provide a positive and social environment for both children. I take pride in being dependable and someone families can trust, and I’d love to help make your day a little easier.

Maddie $18 per hour for 1 child

I’m looking for a job taking care of 1 or 2 children during the week (plus Saturday if needed but preferably just working weekdays). I was a nanny for 2 children, almost 2 and 4. We spent our mornings playing, going to the park, reading, and doing crafts. Both parents work from home, so we all had lunch together and then put the children to nap, after nap they get a healthy snack and we play some more! I started this job when they were 6 months and 1 and a half in the summer of 2024. I just finished up my last day on Halloween, so I am looking to start work asap if possible (although not required, I would be willing to find something else for the time being until ready for me to start) Before I was a nanny, I worked at a before/after school daycare, plus a summer camp run by the same company. We would play, set up different toys every day, do crafts, get healthy snacks, and go outside when the weather was alright. At summer camp we mostly spent the whole day outside. There was a tree fort, pool days, hiking, sports, crafts, biking, etc! There were special weekly events where we went to the arcade, roller skating, and ice skating. There were children preschool to freshman year of high school at the summer camp. I have also worked as a cashier, online order picker/packer, and busser, so I have experience with cleaning tasks as well.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
