Amore' $24 per hour for 1 child

Hi families, my name is Amoré. I have a rich background in child care, starting with my role as a lead camp counselor for children ages 2-3 and 3-4. Over the years, I have served as a head infant and toddler teacher in various early childhood learning centers, where I developed and implemented engaging curricula tailored to young minds. Additionally, I have extensive experience nannying for infants and toddlers, often caring for multiple children at once. My approach to child care includes a blend of fun and educational activities, such as sensory play, storytime, and outdoor adventures, which help foster development and creativity. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and am currently looking for a job with a wonderful family. My passion for working with children is evident to everyone who knows me, and I take great pride in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for them.

Chinyere E $20 per hour for 1 child

Greetings! I am a librarian, teaching artist, trained doula and parent of two teens who I stayed at home with for their first three years. I love connecting with children because their curiosity and enthusiasm are contagious! I have taught photography in schools and tutored in schools and in homes for children ages 6 -14. I have attended births of close friends and provided post partum support to families in the form of cooking meals, laundry, light housework, and infant care so that parents can rest and recover. I have provided caregiving to elders in the form of transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, light housework, meal preparation, and companionship. I understand that maintaining independence is important as we age and I allow space for the elders that I work with to do as much as they can for themselves so that they feel a sense of agency. I am skilled in decluttering and organizing, errands and household management. I have a calm and easy going demeanor and get along well with children of all ages and people from all walks of life! I communicate clearly, am responsible, reliable and exhibit patience and flexibility in stressful situations. I look forward to working with you to help your household and daily life run smoothly!

Maddie $18 per hour for 1 child

I’m looking for a job taking care of 1 or 2 children during the week (plus Saturday if needed but preferably just working weekdays). I was a nanny for 2 children, almost 2 and 4. We spent our mornings playing, going to the park, reading, and doing crafts. Both parents work from home, so we all had lunch together and then put the children to nap, after nap they get a healthy snack and we play some more! I started this job when they were 6 months and 1 and a half in the summer of 2024. I just finished up my last day on Halloween, so I am looking to start work asap if possible (although not required, I would be willing to find something else for the time being until ready for me to start) Before I was a nanny, I worked at a before/after school daycare, plus a summer camp run by the same company. We would play, set up different toys every day, do crafts, get healthy snacks, and go outside when the weather was alright. At summer camp we mostly spent the whole day outside. There was a tree fort, pool days, hiking, sports, crafts, biking, etc! There were special weekly events where we went to the arcade, roller skating, and ice skating. There were children preschool to freshman year of high school at the summer camp. I have also worked as a cashier, online order picker/packer, and busser, so I have experience with cleaning tasks as well.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
