Hi Families! I’m Khady, I’m a third year student at Howard University. I will be in Raleigh and San Francisco for the summer. I’m originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and I’ve been babysitting for about eight years. I got my Red Cross babysitting and CPR/First Aid certification at 12, and since then, I’ve been working with newborns up to teenagers. I’m experienced with all ages, but I especially love working with toddlers from 3 months to 5 to 6 years old. I also have a lot of experience with special needs, especially ASD and ADHD. I’ve worked with many families, providing date nights and backup care, and I’ve had several consistent nanny families over the years. I’m also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and spent a year and a half at UNC Rex Hospital NICU, where I gained my experience with newborns. I worked for 2.5 years as an AuPair taking care of children from 3 different families ( 7 months old to 13 years old) I had a great experience with all the families and kids. My last full time job ended after almost 2 years of taking care of a beautiful baby girl who now is in pre-k but I still babysit her constantly.
