Hi families! My name is Jessica and I’m an experienced nanny and current teacher in a public elementary school. I truly enjoy working with children and supporting their growth through fun, safe, and educational experiences. I speak both English and Spanish, and I love teaching! This summer, I’m available for part-time nanny jobs (3–4 hours a day) or occasional babysitting. I’m patient, reliable, and love helping little ones feel confident and cared for. I’d love to connect and support your family! . Feel free to contact me to know more about me.

Jessica was wonderful to work with and our 7 year old son loved her too - we will definitely hire her again!

Hi families I’m Ali I have a Communication science degree and I’ve been a babysitter/nanny for over 10 years. I’m a Spanish speaker so if you want your children to learn another language I’d be so happy to help. I worked for 2.5 years as an AuPair taking care of children from 3 different families ( 7 months old to 13 years old) I had a great experience with all the families and kids. My last full time job ended after almost 2 years of taking care of a beautiful baby girl who now is in pre-k but I still babysit her constantly. In my last two jobs I watched babies, a 3 months old baby boy and then another 3 months old baby girl. My schedule is very flexible and I’m available on weekends as well. Thanks

Ana like the Disney princess ❄️☃️ I’m a 2021 grad of GW and now work in policy at an environmental ngo. Prior to the pandemic and while in college in DC I regularly babysat for a handful of families I found using Urbansitter. I’ve been a long term nanny as well. I book primarily offline but use UrbanSitter as a resource to meet new, wonderful families. Im so fortunate to have been connected to so many incredible families through this platform! 📱I follow parent lead regarding tech and TV. Please let me know of any screen or tech boundaries! 🚨safety: Fully vaccinated & flu shot. Happy to wear a mask or complete a rapid COVID test morning of on request. Let me know what your comfort level is! ✨Currently not looking for part-or full-time jobs.I’m working full-time but available for weekend and evening babysitting.

Hi! I'm Kathryn - kids call me KP. Friends have also referred to me as Aunt Kathryn, Baby Whisperer and Better Mommy. (That last one comes from a pretty specific sense of humor!). My very first job was babysitting when I was 11. I worked my way through high school and college as a nanny, babysitter and camp counselor. An unexpected lay-off means I have some downtime while I find a new f/t job and I find kid care to be one of the best things for me in times like these. Living and working solo means that a focus on taking care of people can be really restorative. And that solo time makes it easier for me to be fully present and engaged and infinitely patient when I am with kids. I love newborns - I earned the "baby whisperer" nickname because babies stop crying when I hold them. Many friends have asked me to be their new baby's first babysitter. I have spent more than a few hours in the NICU with friends' new babies and I can handle very young and special needs babies. I also love older kids - I do arts & crafts, baking and cooking, dance parties, field trips, nature & outside time, etc. Two of my favorite secret tricks are pipe cleaners and the Ministry of Silly Walks. Nutrition and health are serious hobbies for me - I am a great home cook and a registered yoga teacher. Cleaning isn't my favorite but I like to take care of people, and I love seeing the relief on people's faces when I finish some laundry or dishes or other cleaning task they're dreading. Mostly, I love meeting humans of all ages wherever they are and engaging on their level. I'm loving, compassionate, non-judgmental and fun. I'm also super no-nonsense and really great at boundaries and expectations. I'd love to meet your family!

KP was great with our kids. She understands their developmental levels and interacts with them appropriately. She’s respectful and left the place clean. Definitely recommend!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
