Hello! My name is Ameerah, and I’m a sophomore Philosophy major at Howard University with aspirations of attending law school. I currently work at the Meaningful Futures Organization in Bethesda, Maryland as a camp counselor, working with children with disabilities on Saturdays. I’m looking for more part-time work during the week! I’m 20 years old and have a variety of hobbies, including reading, journaling, painting, and crafting. I’ve had a passion for working with children for years. In high school, I volunteered and worked with kids in several roles: camp counselor, camp volunteer, and camp mentor. My duties included supervising children ages 5-15 during lunch, recess, downtime, and field trips.
