I can cook, clean and provide a safe ride. I enjoy following a child’s lead during play time but I understand the necessity of boundaries to keep everyone safe.

Having grown up with twelve siblings, I’ve developed a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility. Working closely with older aunts and grandmothers, I’ve taken on various household duties like cleaning, stocking, and caring for younger children. My experiences have also taught me the importance of punctuality and time management. Beyond family life, I’m passionate about activities like soccer, basketball, and math, which have further honed my teamwork and analytical skills.

I'm Tiona! I was born and raised here in MN and have been living in Blaine for a couple of years now. I've been learning childcare all my life, being the eldest sister of 6, but over the years starting at 15 I've grown an exciting passion for working with youth! Although in daycares I specialized in Pre-K, being able to care for and learn children in every age from infant to kindergartner is not only important emotionally to me but necessary I feel in my growth as a childcare provider. I prefer to work with children ages 6 and younger because I've learned to be very good with helping children regulate through their emotions and grow in their independence as big boys and girls, but I am open to and very qualified to work with kids of all ages. I am patient, efficient, a proven quick learner, and great at adjusting to different kids with all kinds of different personalities, behavioral challenges and learning abilities. I guarantee to all families genuine and hard work at all times! Plus, I want kids to have fun! I don’t believe in too much screen time when babysitting. I like to have in home activities, learning experiences, and outside time when needed. Hi! I'm Tina, I've been working in the child care field for about 3+ years now. I've worked at a daycare for about 2 years, working with infants to preschool ages and occasionally grade school ages as well. I'm currently a paraprofessional working with kids varying from ages 3-6. I'm passionate about working with children and truly admire the love and laughter that comes with! Hello! My experience includes two summer camp jobs, where I was responsible for supervising field trips, engaging the students in arts and crafts, recess supervision, and all around just providing a fun as well as safe environment for the children.
