Hello! My name is Esiyah , and I am a passionate, nurturing, and dependable caregiver with a well-rounded background in childcare, education, and family support services. I bring years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, as well as providing companionship to seniors and loving care for family pets.
Professionally, I’ve worked as both a Youth Program Coordinator and an Assistant Teacher at a Head Start program, where I worked closely with children ages 2-4 and 4-5. In these roles, I created engaging activities that supported their learning, social-emotional development, and creativity in a safe, loving environment.
In addition to early childhood care, I also served as a Middle School Reading and Writing Teacher, where I had the privilege of helping students excel academically. I’m proud to share that 85% of my students passed their state testing under my instruction — a testament to my effective teaching strategies, excellent test-taking skills, and my ability to truly connect with students wherever they are in their educational journey.
Beyond the classroom, I have helped raise and care for infants and or younger children within my own family, often providing overnight and daytime care while family members worked for severely months until the child reached an older age. During my college years, I started my own tutoring and babysitting service, offering support to single mothers and married couples in my community. The families I worked with consistently praised my commitment to their children’s growth, safety, and emotional well-being, as well as the genuine love I bring to every caregiving relationship.
I am patient, creative, dependable, and passionate about creating nurturing, enriching environments where children feel valued and supported. I’m also very experienced in light household tasks, meal preparation, organizing schedules and routine, and pet care.
