I am an experienced and attentive caregiver with over 15 years of babysitting experience including full-time nannying for six years, ELS teaching assistant for a semester and 4 years as a water safety instructor for children ages 6 months- 15 years old. I have experience caring full time while parents go on vacation, doing school pickup/drop offs or overnights. I majored in Psychology in college and took classes on childhood development. I have a complex understanding of meeting children where they are at and allowing them autonomy in discovering the world (safety always being the first priority). Hi, my name is Riya I have over 10 years of experience in childcare, currently I work as the Local Childcare Coordinator for GreatAuPairUSA. I've gained organizing skills, cleaning, cooking, etc. I love arts & crafts, making yummy dishes like homemade mac and cheese to my homemade chocolate chip cookies. I also love animals like dogs and cats; I grew up with both but also don't mind pet snakes and other little creatures! I myself have niece's and a nephew as well as gained a daughter from the loss of a friend unfortunately, but I treat her as if she was my own blood. Hi, I’m Maddie! I grew up in a big family and naturally became the built in babysitter for my younger siblings and cousins. I have experience with all ages (infants-13 years).
