Booked by 28 families in Lake Elmo, MN

Hi, my name is Renee. I am a college educated, intuitive, and compassionate nanny. I have been a professional nanny for 11.5 years and I have over 25 years of babysitting experience. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, and for twins between the ages of 10 days old and 7 years old. I have cared primarily for newborns, infants and toddlers. I have worked for families with up to four children. One of the families I worked for had 2 sets of twins (preschool and early school-aged). I enjoy being active with infants and young children, taking them out for walks, visiting parks, going on adventures to the zoo, playgrounds and libraries, reading books and singing songs. I love caring for sweet, kind children, and for families who value open communication. I have a fully insured, reliable Minivan that can accommodate 5 car seats, I am a non-smoker and I have a clean driving record. I am a proud mother to three children: a 3 year old girl, and two boys ages 7 and 10.5 years old. My boys would not need to come with me. I would describe my nannying/parenting style as positive parenting/connection based parenting, which is evidence based. I believe in the importance of acknowledging a child's emotions and teaching them how to appropriately handle their emotions. I have taken many childhood continuing education classes and a few child psychology classes. Education: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology Postpartum Doula MN Infant Toddler Credential Newborn Care Specialist I have current certifications in: CPR and First Aid (for infants and adults), C.A.R.S, and SUID/AHT class (formerly known as SIDS/Shaken Baby Syndrome). I can provide my letters of recommendation and my background check during in-person interviews. My cancellation policy is as follows with any booking: 100% of booking fee to be paid by a family if cancelling with less than 24 hours notice. 4 hour minimum booking fee to be paid if cancelling within 24 to 48 hours of a booking.

Renee is an extremely professional caretaker. I feel very safe leaving my children in her care because she has very good judgment and has the training to ensure children are safe. She is very emotionally attuned to the needs of my children and I feel so lucky to have had her help!

Jennisha 1 review
Saint Paul
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hello. I am Jennisha. I am a 19 year old graduate. I am the oldest of 5. I am looking for babysitting, pet sitting gigs and house cleaning. I am also good with elderly. I helped my mom take care of my grandma before she passed. I am starting a new life and this is my beginning. Thank you for considering me. And I’ll get back to you when I can. Much love.

Jenisha is a very sweet girl that absolutely loves children and babies. I've seen her raise her siblings since they were little kids. Feeding, changing diapers, teaching her baby brother how to speak words. She would make a very nurturing mother one day. Baby sitting is second nature to her. Would definitely recommend her as your baby sitter !!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
