A little bit about me
Hello,
My name is Sara, and I'd love to share a little about myself. I have had the privilege of working as a Critical Care Registered Nurse for over 26 years. While becoming a nanny may seem like quite a career change, I have truly found joy in caring for children and supporting families in a more personal way.
I was previously employed full-time by a wonderful family, caring for their 2-year-old toddler. In addition to providing attentive childcare, I assisted with meal preparation, light housekeeping, daily walks, and planned outings that encourage learning, socialization, and fun.
Although my professional title has not always been "nanny," I have extensive experience caring for children of various ages, from infants to older toddlers. My nursing background has provided me with exceptional skills in safety, patience, communication, and the ability to respond calmly and confidently in any situation. I take pride in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where children can thrive while giving parents peace of mind knowing their little ones are receiving attentive and compassionate care. I especially enjoy helping children learn age-appropriate skills such as the ABCs, counting, colors, shapes, sight words, and early problem-solving through play, reading, and everyday activities.
As both a caregiver and healthcare professional, I understand the importance of trust, reliability, and open communication with families. My goal is to support not only the children in my care but also the parents by helping make daily life run a little more smoothly.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I look forward to the opportunity to support another family and help their children learn, grow, and thrive.
Warmly,
Sara
