I live in Apex for about 5 years now. I have house sat for several relatives and friends, as well as taken care their pets for both shorter and longer stays. I took care of my siblings ever since they were young.

I am 34 years old and live in Raleigh. I graduated in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a degree in Marketing Communications and Spanish. My most favored life philosophy is "Collect moments, not things", which is why I always like to get kids involved in activities when possible. There will always be toys and TV in this world, I like to find a way to get kids excited about all the other things there are to life! Some of my most favorite things to do with kids (depending on ages of course) are cooking/baking, riding on transit and teaching them about transit safety, going to the park or for a walk, reading, coloring, dancing, listening to music, and any sort of playtime with water whether it be making bath time more fun or going to the beach.

Hi there! My name is Meredith and I am a college student at ECU. My major is communications and I am a big people person. I used to watch some kids in my neighborhood and I also participated in Wake Interfaith. This is a volunteer program where you watch children while giving the parents a break as they are in difficult housing situations. I have also pet-sit for cats, dogs, hamsters, and fish.
