I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a major in psychology and several courses on child development. I am CPR certified, and currently work as a case worker for at risk youth in Charlotte. I have worked at the Ronald McDonald house in the UES for children with cancer. I worked at the YMCA at the day care, And also an after school teacher helper for the Richmond district in San Francisco. I was a camp counselor for kinder through first grade. I had about 40 kids in my group and the ratio was always 12:1. I also worked with a program that helped students from low income families reach their grade reading level. I was one on one with about 6 students a day, and I built strong relationships with each and every one of my students.
