Camryn $19 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! I’m Camryn, an experienced nanny looking for job opportunities around the Greensboro area prior to upcoming move! I have experience with multiples in a wide variety of ages, and currently work as a tutor in a public-school setting. I love anything artistic and spend much of my time outside of work creating, reading, writing, exploring nature, or spending time with loved ones! I am very flexible in terms of availability and responsibilities; I am happy to discuss specifics as needed. I look forward to meeting new potential employers, and I’m excited for the opportunity to work in/create a safe space that inspires curiosity and confidence throughout childhood experiences! Currently, I work with a non-profit in the public school system, as a 3rd grade reading tutor. I have been working with the program since early 2023 and take a lot of pride in what we’ve accomplished! I have worked mainly in one-on-one capacities within this job, allowing for a more individualized intervention approach, but through this I have had many opportunities within the classroom and grade level; I have chaperoned many field trips and proctor every year for end of grade testing. Before this, I worked as a nanny for two families, one full-time and part-time for the other. With this schedule I worked every day of the week, Monday-Friday for one family, Saturday-Sunday for the other. For the C. family (which I worked full-time) I started watching their children when they were 8 months and 12 years old, and continued to work with them until they were 4 and 15! For this family in particular my duties relied a lot on the familial values and structures they had in place, for example, there was a limit on screen time with the kids and a big emphasis on outdoor play and exploration. In addition, this family followed cultural diet structure, involving a lot of plant-based and organic foods for preparation. A lot of my duties revolved around meal preparation and following these dietary restrictions. For the Co. family (part-time) I began staying with their kids at 9 months old and 4 years old, and worked with them until they were 4 years old and 8 years old. A lot of my duties surrounding this position revolved around transportation of the boys, often to and from activities. I also handled making sure the oldest took his medication as prescribed, worked a lot with potty training, explored creative outlets, etc.

Amariyona $14 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Amariyona , I’m 18 years old, and I’m someone who truly loves being around children. Ever since I first started working with kids during my internship at a daycare, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. Being able to help them learn, grow, and feel safe and cared for is something that genuinely makes me happy. I’m currently in college working toward my teaching degree, because I want to make a real difference in children’s lives, both academically and emotionally. I’ve been working with kids for about three years now, and in that time I’ve babysat for many families whenever they needed someone they could trust. I always try to bring a warm, positive, and patient energy so kids feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged to just be themselves. I also take safety very seriously. I have my medical assistant license, I’m CPR certified for both infants and adults, and I have my Stop the Bleed certification. Knowing I have those skills gives me confidence, and it gives families peace of mind knowing their children are in safe hands. Overall, I would describe myself as caring, responsible, and full of positive energy. I love creating fun, safe, and supportive environments where kids can laugh, learn, and just enjoy being kids.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
