Hi Families!!! I’m so excited to connect with you all. I am a Preschool Teacher/Daycare Provider/Aftercare Teacher based in Brooklyn, New York currently looking for a part time position. My goal as a Nanny is to provide the best environment for both the children and parents, to have the children’s best interest in mind, make sure the children are safe and having fun, and to give my help, support and love. I treat each child as an individual and as if they are a part of my own family and my own children. As a childcare provider, each child’s personal health and safety is of utmost importance to me. After years working in hospitality and most recently as a Corporate Catering Director within a law firm, I decided to take a step in a new direction and focus more intentionally on the things that have always mattered to me: psychology, wellness, and working with children. I’m currently pursuing my degree in Psychology while continuing to deepen my yoga teaching practice. I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), certified in Children’s Yoga, and CPR/AED/First Aid certified for both adults and children. Caring for children has also been part of my life for many years. I began babysitting and nannying in high school and continued throughout my early college years. Today, I’m also a very involved aunt to my 6-year-old niece and almost 1-year-old nephew. My niece, Emily, is on the autism spectrum, and spending time with her has given me an even deeper appreciation for how differently children communicate, process their surroundings, and express their needs. I bring a calm, warm, patient presence into the homes I work in, while still understanding the importance of structure, safety, routine, and play. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and creating an environment where they can feel comfortable, supported, and completely themselves.
