I love working with kids and have been doing so since college, where I was an America Reads tutor for NYC public schools, working in elementary/middle school settings (acted as a teacher assistant essentially). After college, I worked as a paraprofessional for the Jersey City board of Ed for two years, working with middle school-aged special needs students. I then transitioned to being an EMT for four years, working for different medical transport companies dealing with primarily elderly patients. Upon leaving EMS, I became a behavior technician providing in-home services to autistic children after-school while working during the day as a paraprofessional in a special needs elementary/middle school. I recently left both jobs to work full-time at a clinic for autistic children as a behavior technician. I am good with crafts and tutoring and can work as a household assistant to clean and run errands. I own two small dogs and two cats and have been a pet owner since 2014.

I am an acting student that graduated from LaGuardia HS of Music and Art, attended Boston University and graduated this past May with a degree in theater. I am enthusiastic, engaged and nurturing. A few summers ago I interned at an organization titled Only Make Believe which provides theatre for kids in hospitals that need medical assistance. Additionally I worked at Broadway Workshop which provides summer theater training to kids in school K-12. All of this work is on top of the babysitting I have done over the last 4 years of college with ages 0-13. I love working with kids and love getting to see the world through their eyes and feel it is the catalyst for my work as an actor and helps me reconnect with my imagination and inner child. I am a big dog lover and have had a dog in the house ever since I was born.

Hi, I’m Kathleen, and I am a sophomore at Hunter College. Throughout high school, I was a 3-sport varsity athlete (cross country, basketball, and golf) and I played several different sports growing up! My main hobby is running, and I am looking to qualify for the Boston Marathon! I love to entertain and make sure the kids are having fun! I am a very friendly person and although I love to have fun, I always want to make sure we are staying safe. I am very familiar with the kitchen and cooking a good meal. I have two sisters, one older and one younger so I am very familiar with the conflict that can arise. I also have a dog and love all pets.
