SUMMER BREAK AVAILABILITY! Hi parents! I know how important it is to find a caregiver you can trust. I’ve been working as a nanny in NYC for the 2 year,s and babysitting since I was 12, caring for kids of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. I am currently working with a family of 4 boys, ages 6 years to 6 months. I am looking for other temporary jobs while they are out of town for the next couple of weeks. My responsibilities include taking and picking up kids from school, taking them to their various activities and extra curricular activities, cooking and meal time, and getting ready for bed, along with general care taking, playing, and supervision. I enjoy meeting kids where they are at, engaging in their interests and joys, and creating a space where they can feel safe and cared for. I am currently a graduate student studying social work at Fordham University where I’m learning how to support children in meaningful and developmentally appropriate ways. As apart of my program, I work 3x a week in an elementary school doing one-on-one counseling with children ages 6-10 with behavioral and developmental issues. I’m upbeat, patient, and love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive. I’d love the opportunity to support your family! Hi! I'm Mariana! I've been working as a nanny since I was 18 (now I’m 25), and caring for children is definitely my favorite job. I've worked with newborns, babies, toddlers, and older kids, including twins and families with multiple children. I also had the opportunity to care for three children on my own while their parents were traveling in Europe, which gave me even more confidence managing busy routines, keeping everyone on schedule, and making sure the kids felt safe, happy, and loved while their parents were away.
