Hi! My name is Josie, and I’m a rising senior at Fordham University. I offer child care, dog walking/pet care, and household help. I love creating a safe, fun, and positive environment where children feel cared for, engaged, and comfortable.
I have experience babysitting children in my neighborhood, and I’ve built strong relationships with the families I work with. I’m responsible, patient, and energetic, and I enjoy keeping kids entertained through games, crafts, reading, outdoor play, music, and movement.
I also have professional experience working with young children through Ballet Petite, where I taught weekly dance camps for children ages 3–6. In this role, I managed groups of up to 7 children at a time, led dance activities, helped with transitions, encouraged participation, and made sure every child felt safe, included, and excited to learn.
Because of my dance background, I love bringing creativity and movement into babysitting. I’m also happy to help with children’s routines, basic homework, snacks, simple meals, cooking for the children, light cleaning, tidying up play areas, and helping keep things organized while parents are away.
I also offer dog walking and pet care. I have a Thai Ridgeback at home, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs and understand the importance of being attentive, patient, and responsible with pets.
