Hi families! My name is Lulu, and I’m a Montessori-trained early childhood educator with a deep love for nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children. I recently spent several years in London working in both hospitality and family environments before moving to New York, and I bring a warm, calm, and thoughtful approach to caregiving.
Most recently I worked as a Lead Guide in a Montessori Young Toddler classroom, supporting children 15-24 months through independence-building activities, emotional development, and hands-on learning. I love creating environments where children feel safe to explore the world around them while developing their own sense of capability.
Alongside childcare, I’m also a trained yoga and meditation practitioner, and I enjoy bringing elements of mindfulness, movement, and calm into the day—whether that’s through breathing exercises, stretching, or simply creating peaceful moments in a busy toddler schedule.
Creativity is a big part of my life as well. I work in floristry and love incorporating nature into activities with children—flower arranging, nature walks, seasonal crafts, and sensory play inspired by the outdoors. I believe children thrive when they can engage with beauty, texture, and the natural world.
I also volunteered with 240 Wellbeing, supporting community mental health initiatives, which has deepened my understanding of emotional care, empathy, and supporting both children and families through life’s ups and downs.
Families often describe me as calm, attentive, and deeply engaged with children. I value building trusting relationships with both parents and little ones, and I strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel seen, respected, and joyful.
I’d love to connect and see if I might be a good fit for your family!
