Hi!! NYC/JC preferred, unless transportation is provided (or walkable from train) as I do not drive. I have experience - just over 2 years now! - as an afterschool teaching assistant for elementary school in NYC, grades K-5. It’s something I absolutely love, as chaotic as it can be! We go through snack time, many different kinds of classes, and free choice time, so I am very adaptable and can work through transitions and different activities. I also have 2+ years experience dog and cat sitting - in case there’s any beloved pets in the house that need cuddles, food, or walks! I have no problem staying late for bedtime, cooking, doing laundry, transport, or any cleanup (and, as long as they’re old enough, I’d be happy to involve your kiddo and help develop those skills themselves too)! I have been teaching cooking classes in our program as well, if that’s also a skill you’d like to begin at home. I’m in NJ now, but am perfectly good commuting in as I usually do, since I grew up in the city and currently work there! It would be a pleasure to continue where I love everything about the city and make some new little friends along the way!

After three years of experience with household cleaning, I’ve become confident, efficient, and consistent in how I maintain a clean and organized home. I no longer clean randomly or react only when things get messy—I follow routines that keep my space in good condition every day, while also scheduling deeper cleans so nothing is neglected. I understand which tasks need daily attention, like dishes, countertops, and general tidying, and which ones require weekly or monthly focus, such as bathrooms, floors, appliances, and storage areas. My experience shows most in my attention to detail. I’m mindful of high-touch areas like door handles, light switches, and remotes, and I don’t overlook corners, baseboards, or hard-to-see buildup. I know how to properly clean different surfaces—glass, wood, stainless steel, fabric—without damaging them, and I choose the right products and tools instead of relying on trial and error. Cleaning has become more deliberate and precise rather than rushed or surface-level. I’ve also developed strong time-management skills. I work efficiently, breaking tasks into manageable steps so cleaning doesn’t feel overwhelming. I can clean thoroughly without wasting energy, and I adapt my approach depending on the condition of the space or how much time I have. After three years, cleaning feels less like a chore and more like a practiced skill—one that allows me to maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness, comfort, and order in my home.

Nurturing young minds is truly my passion. My experiences working at a daycare with kids from 2-6 years old, sparked a desire to positively impact children's lives, leading me to two fulfilling years of childcare. I hold a graduate degree and enjoy caring for children aged 1-11. I'm comfortable with up to four children. I am patient, calm, and friendly. I love playing outside, board games, and educational games. I communicate with parents through verbal updates and text, always following your preferred method. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Speaking both English and Spanish allows me to connect with more families.
