Hi, my name is Annette! I’ve been a professional nanny for over 15 years, caring for children from newborns through 13 years old. Alongside my professional experience, I’m also a mom to a 4-year-old and a 13-year-old, which gives me an even deeper understanding of what families need and value in childcare. While being a nanny is my profession, it’s also something I genuinely love. Being present for children, supporting their growth, and helping them feel safe and supported is what drives me. As a parent, I truly understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your child — you’re trusting them with the most important part of your life. I treat every child in my care as if they were my own. My role is to keep them safe, nurture them, and build trust so they know I’m there for them when their parents can’t be physically present. I approach every family relationship as a partnership. We all rely on each other, so open communication and transparency are very important to me. I’m here to support your parenting style, not overstep boundaries — I’d want the same respect when it comes to my own children. My goal is to provide stability and peace of mind, and I hope every family I’ve worked with would agree that I do just that. Fun fact about me: I’m the mother of a daughter with a cochlear implant (she was born with profound hearing loss). Through that journey, I’ve developed a lot of patience and hands-on speech therapy skills, which I also bring into my work as a nanny. As the saying goes — it takes a village! I look forward to working with new families and reconnecting with past families as well. 💛

Annette was very personable and warm. She provided updates hourly and both of my kids loved her :) I felt very at ease with Annette and we are looking forward to working with her again!

Hi! My name is Tamyia. I’m currently in working toward my degree in Human Services. I’ve been babysitting since 2018, so I have over six years of experience caring for kids of all ages. One of my favorite parts about babysitting is the relationships I get to build with both the children and their families. I really enjoy being someone families can rely on and helping out wherever I’m needed. I would describe myself as patient, creative, and easy to get along with. I love keeping kids engaged with outdoor activities, board games, and fun educational games. I always try to create a safe and positive environment where kids feel comfortable and supported.

Tamyia is a joy to work with, kind and compassionate

Hi families! Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my profile☺️ My name is Kailyn, or just Kay! I am currently seeking part time, occasional, along with date night positions. New to UrbanSitter, however on multiple other platforms! I recently was a sitter to 2 girls on the UES (9&12)! I have experience from ages 3m -13y, Including children with ASD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down syndrome( UP syndrome✨)I have been employed at a sensory center, and I've also worked with long term families and enjoy building lasting relationships✨Caregiving has always been a part of my day to day, being the “babysitter” for family friends. So, naturally, I turned to childcare as a profession rather than a “hobby” at the age of 15! I am very personable, compassionate and caring and always take communicating with both parents and child(ren) as a priority. Some of the things I enjoy to do with my minis; I do like to go on a walk(weather permitting), play at the park, do arts/crafts, the library(Amazing classes+📚). Of course, I am open to follow which ever activities you would like me do with your child(ren). In addition to childcare, I am more than happy to lend a hand with household assistance, whether it is running errands, cooking(*When cooking in your home I am open and more than happy to accommodate dietary needs*) and/or tidying up around and laundry. I also love pets so a hand with pet care is not a problem; dog/cat sit, walk/feed :) ! I'm always looking forward to connecting with new families. It's important that we both feel we're the right match for one another! If you have any questions, please let me know, I look forward to hearing from you! Interests outside of caregiving⚖️- Content creation, trying new food places, shopping, wellness, brooklyn bridge pier walks, ALL the museums🖼️🎨🤖 - Spanish language speaker🇩🇴 -Basic Sign language 🤟🏽 References available upon request. Thank you!

How’s it going , When it comes to raising four boys at home, The safety awareness skills you learn while mothering your own children will stay with you throughout your life. Racing my four boys taught me the stages of childhood development and what to expect at different ages. These skills are useful when working with kids at any time in the future and especially if you are planning on working with children to make living! How to entertain children With enough motherhood skills plus caring for other children, you can have child-entertaining down to a fine art. You can quickly become a master of playing, reading, singing, drawing, improvising, and having fun. Children get sick a lot (particularly when attending childcare centers), so caring for them when they are not well is something you will pick up right away. There are many tactics to know that can make a child feel more comfortable, loved, and to help them recover quicker. You can also learn how to prevent the spread of germs and stop other people from getting sick, including yourself! Helping children to understand their emotions, manage their feelings, and learn the difference between right and wrong behavior is challenging, but it is also a rewarding experience. There are many subtleties to learn and every family may have a slightly different set of disciplinary values they wish to uphold. Sometimes children are prone to tantrums. You can learn to pre-empt trigger situations, and how to plan around them. You can learn the art of distraction (very powerful) and if a tantrum does occur, you can learn how to stay calm in stressful situations while remaining firm with your principles. Child encouragement and motivation strategies! Explaining why things need to be done! Building trust, and; Leading by example. These learned strategies can be invaluable in your day-to-day when dealing with children. I hope this answers some of your questions and please to hesitate to contact me if you are willing to meet. I have excellent references available upon request. My references can attest to my dedication, reliability, and the positive impact I have had on the children I have cared for. Have a bless day.... I

We will definitely hire YOSELINA in the future.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
