I I was born in Colombia, South American, As a child I was adopted and raised in New York City by my mother who was a public school teacher for 36 years before retiring from the NYC Board of Education. I married at a young age and now have an amazing eighteen year old daughter, who is a freshman at college in Michigan. Throughout my daughter’s childhood I was fortune enough to be a full time mother, and so I devoted myself completely to her. I am eternally grateful for my role as her mother. When she was a child, she sang, with the children’s Chorus of New York Metropolitan Opera. Rehearsal, auditions, and picking her up from school took up most of my time. There were many trips to the park, theater performances, dancing classes, and other varied experiences.
