Though I take my role as an educator seriously, I consider myself personable and want to help others find the joy in learning. I have experience working with students as young as 4 to college-level adults. Though I specialize in English, I have also taught music, mathematics, and physics, and I'm flexible with learning other subjects as well. I have been babysitting and caring for children since I was in high school. I nannied for a family with twins, from the time they were one to three years old. Hi - I'm Diana and I'm currently a behavior technician at Success on the Spectrum. I am offering childcare, pet care, senior care, and household services. I love working with kids and have been doing so since college, where I was an America Reads tutor for NYC public schools, working in elementary/middle school settings (acted as a teacher assistant essentially). After college, I worked as a paraprofessional for the Jersey City board of Ed for two years, working with middle school-aged special needs students. I then transitioned to being an EMT for four years, working for different medical transport companies dealing with primarily elderly patients. Upon leaving EMS, I became a behavior technician providing in-home services to autistic children after-school while working during the day as a paraprofessional in a special needs elementary/middle school. I recently left both jobs to work full-time at a clinic for autistic children as a behavior technician. I am good with crafts and tutoring and can work as a household assistant to clean and run errands. I own two small dogs and two cats and have been a pet owner since 2014.
