Hi! My name is Kaidy- I graduated with a B.S. from West Virginia University in 2013, then continued to take classes towards a Master’s degree in Education shortly after. I am trained and certified in infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid, and I have utilized my skills several times working with children. I have successfully preformed the Heimlich Maneuver on separate occasions for a baby and a toddler, as well as identified the signs of a child experiencing an asthma attack and immediately used their rescue inhaler. I have also administered regular medication to children (and pets!) and I feel totally comfortable doing so. I don’t have any children of my own, but I grew up the oldest of 30 first cousins and I have absolutely loved being able to care for them, as well as children of any age and background; to see them grow, and help them flourish, is an honor that I don’t take lightly.
