Hi, I’m Valentina. I’m a 22-year-old college student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where I study Advertising and Marketing Communications. I currently live in NYC and am looking for babysitting opportunities with families in the area. I have experience working with children as a babysitter and former camp counselor, caring for kids ages 3–10. I also taught Spanish to elementary school students (grades 1–5) as part of my high school Spanish Language and Global Citizen program, where I created and led engaging, interactive lesson plans in a classroom setting. I really enjoy working with children and bringing a balance of structure, creativity, and fun into their day. I’m comfortable helping with homework, light cooking, errands, and general household support. Outside of childcare, I’m a very active and creative person. Hi! I’m Laura and I am a Masters Student at Columbia University studying Sustainability Management. I have years of babysitting experience from ages 2-12 and love working with children. I also have experience teaching elementary school students and volunteering with children with mental and physical abilities. My classes are from 6-8 PM Monday through Thursday and am looking for a consistent babysitting job. Hi! I’m Gabby. I’m 28 - born and raised in NYC. I’ve had a huge passion for childcare since being a teen. Most recently I babysat for 2 gorgeous twins - 1 boy and 1 girl from their ages 5-7, until they moved away in 2024. I built a strong bond with them almost instantly that only got stronger over the 2 years. Since then, I've been doing occasional gigs here and there, but I hope to find more steady work. I’ve had several other jobs related to child care as well as pet care. I’m naturally a very nurturing person, so babysitting especially is something I gravitate towards. It’s also in my blood as I come from a line of teachers! My grandmother was a teacher in her day and my mother is an assistant teacher at an amazing nursery school! Everyday she comes home from work excited to show me new pictures of her babies at school - so sweet. Aside from childcare, I also have a background in art from my father’s side. As much as I love children, I'm currently finishing up a degree in Interior Design at Parsons (all asynchronous classes, so it would not interfere with my schedule). My favorite thing in the world is being able to combine my two passions – childcare and art! I love teaching kids art and introducing them to new medias, even getting technical and teaching perspective such as drawing 3D objects! During my last job with the twins, I introduced them to felting which was very fun. It was so rewarding to see their colorful creations! Overall I’m looking forward to going back to childcare. I have 5 younger siblings and as the oldest, I’ve helped with taking care of them, including education and hygiene. I’m able to watch over them for hours at a time and I learned to cook too. I have also worked at a summer program once for art and was able to get more experience with older children (8-10 years old). I also have a cat that I take care of frequently as well as moments were I’ve cat sat for my aunt.
