Hi - My name is Sara, and I’m currently a second-year master’s candidate in the Department of Environmental Health Science as part of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. I enjoy babysitting and have grown up helping family and friends by caring for infants, toddlers, and kids since I was 16. My responsibilities have included changing diapers, warming bottles, making snacks, watching them while the parents are away, getting them ready for bed, walking them to their bus stops, storytelling, and even some arts and crafts! I worked with multiple clients as a self-employed private educator overseas for ~5 years. I taught a self-developed curriculum based on the experts’ approach to teaching English as a foreign language. I tutored English, Science, Mathematics, and History for students in international schools. (1st grade to 12th). As well as English reading and writing for students with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia.
