Hi!! NYC/JC preferred, unless transportation is provided (or walkable from train) as I do not drive. I have experience - just over 2 years now! - as an afterschool teaching assistant for elementary school in NYC, grades K-5. It’s something I absolutely love, as chaotic as it can be! We go through snack time, many different kinds of classes, and free choice time, so I am very adaptable and can work through transitions and different activities. I also have 2+ years experience dog and cat sitting - in case there’s any beloved pets in the house that need cuddles, food, or walks! I have no problem staying late for bedtime, cooking, doing laundry, transport, or any cleanup (and, as long as they’re old enough, I’d be happy to involve your kiddo and help develop those skills themselves too)! I have been teaching cooking classes in our program as well, if that’s also a skill you’d like to begin at home. I’m in NJ now, but am perfectly good commuting in as I usually do, since I grew up in the city and currently work there!
