My youngest son is autistic so I therefore also have experience with special needs kiddos.

I love nature, animals and expressing my creativity in various forms - mostly in the kitchen these days. A little more about my background… I owned a meal prepping/personal chef service company called Vital Bowls. I have also worked multiple office management jobs, and sales related jobs. However - being I am expecting my first little one to enter the world soon, I am looking to get back to what I am best at. I am passionate about working with kids of all ages and adapting to ways that reflect the morals of the parents, and finding ways that fit the child’s individual needs. I have experience homeschooling, Montessori teaching, unschooling and traditional schooling. I love encouraging creativity and will always find ways to be away from the screens and hands on with the kids I am working with. I nannied full time for a family of 4 kids, ages 6, 4, 2, and 1 that were homeschooled. When working with them, I had also taken on household responsibilities most big household tasks like cleaning, laundry and cooking - while still always prioritizing nurturing the kids development through various in home and out of home activities. Hi! I'm Stephanie. I have worked with children of various ages as a substitute teacher. I especially enjoyed working in the baby room (younger than 1 year old). I had babysat for some parents from the school after they saw how their children took a liking to me. During the year I worked as a substitute teacher, I received a teacher of the month award, which was a wonderful honor. I consider myself to be gentle and rather soft spoken at times. Everything I do is done with love, care, and respect to the best of my ability. My goal is to bring more joy, peace, and ease to the children, parents, and homes I attend. I thoroughly enjoy making kids laugh and doing creative projects with them. I am diligent and do my best to clean up after any messes made. I prefer having clear and concise guidelines, as communication is always key. The kind of pets I have experience working with are rabbits, cats, and dogs. While it was technically a business, to me it was building an extension of my own family. I built a strong reputation & client base & consistently had a steady waitlist, and I am still in touch with all of my families to this day. Unfortunately, Covid shut it down & now I'm ready to begin my next chapter on a smaller scale as a nanny in a family's home! I have so much to offer & I'm excited to get started!
