Hi!! My name is Amy, and I’m a 25-year-old Rutgers University graduate with a strong background in childcare, pet care, and household support. I’ve always enjoyed caring for others and creating warm, structured environments where kids can thrive and feel safe — and where families can count on dependable, thoughtful help. From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a nanny for children between the ages of 4 and 7. During that time, I helped with school drop-offs and pick-ups, planned and led creative and stimulating activities (from arts and crafts to outdoor play), and regularly took the kids to the park or after-school activities. I always made sure our days were fun, organized, and filled with learning moments. In addition to childcare, I’ve been a trusted dog sitter for several families in Princeton, NJ, where I grew up. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply keeping pets company while families are away, I love being around animals and understand how important it is to care for them with attention and love. I’m fluent in Spanish, which comes in handy in bilingual households or when introducing kids to a new language in fun ways. I'm also an excellent communicator and believe in being honest, patient, and responsive — qualities that I think are essential when working in someone’s home and building trust with their loved ones. Currently, I work as a visual merchandiser at Lululemon in Princeton. I enjoy the creativity and problem-solving that comes with the job, but I’m now looking to work closer to home and connect with new families in Hoboken or nearby areas. Hi!! NYC/JC preferred, unless transportation is provided (or walkable from train) as I do not drive. I have experience - just over 2 years now! - as an afterschool teaching assistant for elementary school in NYC, grades K-5. It’s something I absolutely love, as chaotic as it can be! We go through snack time, many different kinds of classes, and free choice time, so I am very adaptable and can work through transitions and different activities. I also have 2+ years experience dog and cat sitting - in case there’s any beloved pets in the house that need cuddles, food, or walks! I have no problem staying late for bedtime, cooking, doing laundry, transport, or any cleanup (and, as long as they’re old enough, I’d be happy to involve your kiddo and help develop those skills themselves too)! I have been teaching cooking classes in our program as well, if that’s also a skill you’d like to begin at home. I’m in NJ now, but am perfectly good commuting in as I usually do, since I grew up in the city and currently work there! It would be a pleasure to continue where I love everything about the city and make some new little friends along the way!

Hello! I am an active, extroverted, and creative sitter. I love being around kids and teaching them new things. I also enjoy watching their personalities grow and become more unique. I am comfortable with children of all ages from infant to middle school, but I have worked most of my time with toddlers and elementary. I have also worked with multiple children and pets as well. I do aid in children’s laundry, meal prep, and am available to assist in activities if needed. I also drive and enjoy taking the kids out to do fun activities that we may find.
