Hello I’m currently a university student double majoring in adolescent/childhood education and psychology at Pace University I’ve been officially babysitting since I was 16. Unofficially I’ve been babysitting my whole life being the eldest of 4. I love kids and am flexible to different work situations. I’m great with animals and enjoy spending time outside, if the weather allows for it I love taking the kids to the park. I speak fluent French, Arabic, and English and previously worked as a school tutor and camp counselor. :)

Haii! Im a college student who genuinely enjoys working with children. I have experience babysitting kids from 3months to 11 years old, tutoring after school. And I’m ALSO CPR certified. A day babysitting with me : I like to keep things fun while still following the family’s routine. We might start with a snack and some homework, then switch it up with arts and crafts, games, a movie, playing outside, or exploring something new( definitely excited about this). I’m big on letting kids have fun while still making sure they feel comfortable, heard, and safe. Before the parents come home, I’ll make sure everything is cleaned up and the kids are settled into whatever routine they normally have. I like to actively keep the kids busy and myself, so their interests are very important to me. Parents are updated every few hours and occasional check in when it’s my day off. Having open communication is my biggest priority. I’d describe myself as kind, outgoing, easy to talk to for the most part lol and someone who always tries to bring positive energy wherever I go. I’ve always believed the best jobs are the ones where people are genuinely happy to see you walk through the door. I want to be the sitter kids get excited about and the person parents can trust without worrying. As I’ll be moving away from my own family to start college, I know how important it is to have people around you who make you feel safe, supported, and cared for. I hope I can be that person for the families I experience New York with while building a foundation for connections. I’m currently available for after-school care, date nights, and completely available on the weekends!!! I can adjust as needed and do very early mornings but it’ll be tedious. I have a dog that I take care of and I’ve been around them my whole life. I’d say I’m pretty good with pets but I’m most comfortable around dogs. I’m pretty active so I try to go on runs with my dog daily and try to fit in as much playtime I can in an hour.
