From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a nanny for children between the ages of 4 and 7. During that time, I helped with school drop-offs and pick-ups, planned and led creative and stimulating activities (from arts and crafts to outdoor play), and regularly took the kids to the park or after-school activities. My name is Tori, and I have worked with children in many different capacities for 15 years. I started coaching gymnastics when I was in highschool and have never quit teaching or caring for children since then. I began as a gymnastics and dance teacher and then started babysitting regularly while dancing professionally. I then became a teacher at a tutoring center that assisted neurodivergent children with school activities and development, I worked my way up to lead teacher and worked closely with a mentor to expand my knowledge in childhood development and teaching critical reading skills. When I moved to New York I became a part time nanny and began teaching gymnastics and dance again, in private studios. I also taught in afterschool programming for dance and gymnastics and theater. While in New York I have been the director's assistant for a children's music company, I have taught, and I have most recently been a full-time nanny.
