I believe kids learn best outside, hands dirty, following whatever's caught their attention — a beetle on the sidewalk, a cloud shaped like a dragon, the story behind a statue in the park. I've babysat for family and friends for years, bringing genuine curiosity rather than a checklist of activities. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, so safety's never an afterthought, but I leave room for spontaneity — fort-building, bedtime, and everything between. I show up present and invested, because the best part of this work is watching a kid's face when they've made or discovered something new.

Hi, I’m Meg! I’m a outdoorsy, kind, & dependable babysitter and current grad student based in Brooklyn with my own car. I have been in childcare for as long as I can remember — I earned my first Red Cross certification in 5th grade and have since worked in a variety of childcare capacities. Growing up in Colorado gave me a deeply rooted appreciation for spending time outdoors, and I enjoy planning active adventures and exploring parks whenever possible. I enjoy volunteering in NYC for Girls on the Run and Achilles Kids. As a summer camp counselor for the Snowmass Club, I supervised groups of 15-30 campers between the ages of 5 and 12. I led weekly outdoor recreation trips ranging from local hikes to river rafting, prioritizing children's safety throughout. For 4 years, I volunteered for a peer mentorship program as a “Big Buddy” for elementary and middle school students.
