I am a dedicated and compassionate education professional with experience working with children and students with disabilities. My educational background includes studying Psychology at Felician University, where I developed a strong interest in child development, behavior, and supporting individuals with different learning needs. I am continuing to pursue my goal of completing my education and becoming a certified Special Education teacher, with a particular interest in working with neurodivergent children. Since August 2022, I have worked as a Teacher Assistant with the Plainfield Public School District in New Jersey. Currently working for a daycare mainly with toddlers (2-3) but often moved to infants all the way to preschool. Looking for an easier environment (20 2y/os is definitely a lot). I’m great with understanding children’s emotions and helping with development and regulating feeling. I’ve got a lot of energy to keep up with the fun things especially going outdoors to parks, on trips and making up fun games on rainy days. I’d love to work with one child as much as I’d be glad to work with three. I can easily commute around Manhattan as I live one stop in the train from Penn which only takes me 10-15 minutes and I’m well versed with the city.
