Hello families! My name is Mariel - I am from Brazil and a current Nutrition and Dietetics major at NYU. Before going back to college, in 2020, I was an Au Pair in NYC for over two years where I had the opportunity to gain experience with different ages. Back home, I was a baker and owned a small bakery with my cousins; thus, one of my favorite things to do with kids is baking. I've baked some amazing Brazilian recipes with many American kids and their favorite recipe is always the Brazilian brigadeiros and Brazilian carrot cake.
