Hello, I am Melody. I am a Hispanic American who loves children and has been exposed to them for a truly long time. I am reaching to about 8 years of experience in childcare in the field, including church kid classes, daycare work, and personal full-time nannying work. In more detail, I have provided engaging care for children from the ages of 18 months to 12 in church, daycare, and private home settings. Furthermore, I planned and led activities including games, arts and crafts, music (through my singing and playing guitar), and interactive learning. To add on, I managed classrooms, encouraged creativity, and fostered a fun, nurturing environment. Specific experience includes work at Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church (2017), assisting a daycare called Sunlight Kids (2019), and full-time nannying in Columbus Circle, NY (2025).
Here's a review from my most recent job: "To whom it may concern,
Melody Acosta was a temporary caretaker for our 18-month-old daughter for nearly 3 weeks. As
two extremely time-strapped executives, my husband and I work in busy environments with
high stress and rely on professional, high-performing teams. Melody was an excellent addition
to our team during her time with us.
Melody was extremely professional and diligent right from the start. She made time to come
before the official role began to study the daily routine of our daughter. That way, she would
have a head start before the role began. During her time here, she was extremely dependable
with a calm and helpful demeanor. Often she would arrive early or have to stay a bit later, and
did so with a pleasant, mature demeanor. Her ability to take direction, feedback, and adapt
quickly also stood out. She presented a desire to meet our needs and diligently took notes to
ensure completion of tasks and pivoted when needed. She was proactive, often suggesting
ideas for meals or activities. With our daughter herself, Melody was very interactive, singing,
reading, and spending time with her caringly and lovingly.
Melody would be an asset in any workplace.
Thanks.
