I truly enjoy being a nanny and have experience caring for newborns, infants, and toddlers since I was 20 years old. My responsibilities have included school drop-offs and pick-ups, assisting with homework or school projects, teaching Spanish, helping children learn numbers and letters, among other activities. I am also able to perform household tasks such as tidying up toys, organizing, doing laundry, and cooking. Currently working for a daycare mainly with toddlers (2-3) but often moved to infants all the way to preschool. Looking for an easier environment (20 2y/os is definitely a lot). I’m great with understanding children’s emotions and helping with development and regulating feeling. I’ve got a lot of energy to keep up with the fun things especially going outdoors to parks, on trips and making up fun games on rainy days. I’d love to work with one child as much as I’d be glad to work with three. I can easily commute around Manhattan as I live one stop in the train from Penn which only takes me 10-15 minutes and I’m well versed with the city.

Hi! I’m Amanda, but everyone calls me Mandy! I’m a caring, responsible, and energetic person who genuinely loves being around children. I’m the oldest of five, so caring for younger kids, helping around the house, cooking, and keeping things organized have always been a big part of my life. A little fun fact, back in Puerto Rico, where I'm from, I was always called "Amanda La Que Manda" (Amanda the one in charge), as I was always eager to help and take on tasks! For about six months, I regularly cared for an 8-year-old and a 3-year-old. I picked them up from school, helped with homework, took them to activities, prepared meals, and spent the afternoon making sure they were happy, safe, and cared for. I’ve also occasionally babysat overnight for a 4-year-old and a 10-year-old. I also have experience caring for my dad, as he is in a wheelchair, and assisted him when needed help with everyday tasks, including preparing and feeding him meals, helping with personal care, and making sure he had everything he needed. This taught me a lot about patience, attentiveness, and caring for someone with compassion. I’ve completed an internship with a pediatrician, where I learned more about children’s health and safety, and I’ll be volunteering at a pediatrician’s office this fall. My dream is to become a pediatric emergency physician, so caring for children is something I truly love and feel passionate about. I’m available for part-time and/or full-time nanny care after 12:30 PM. I can help with school pick-ups, homework, meals, playtime, activities, bedtime routines, and light tidying related to the children. I’m CPR & AED trained and would describe myself as kind, patient, dependable, attentive, and responsible. Hi everyone! My name is Ella and I graduated Summa Cum Laude this May from Sacred Heart University. I majored in Sociology and Psychology and plan on pursuing my masters degree in the future! I have an a lot of experience in and related to childcare including babysitting/nannying/pet care for various families over the past 6 years. I have privately babysat for children ages 4-11 but have also spent 3 summers working as a teacher in an early childhood education and leaning daycare in upstate NY for children aged 3 months to 6 years old!
