Hi my name is Sarah. I just graduated from the University of San Francisco with a double major in Economics and Political Science. I recently moved to New York right after graduation. I have been a nanny/babysitter and tutor for over four years. During my time in SF, I worked with two lovely families with children ranging from infants to high school. I love working with kids and seeing them grow. Let me know if you have any questions. I’d be more than happy to schedule time for a chat. Thank you!

I have had the opportunity to care for children ranging in age from approximately 8 months to 7 years old. I have always distinguished myself as a very active individual—constantly establishing routines and fostering good habits to make the parents' job easier. I am currently learning English—a language I already understand—and with my previous employers, even though their native language was French, we maintained excellent communication. With the last child I cared for, I was with him from the age of 6 months until he was two and a half years old, at which point he started school. I taught him to crawl quickly, to speak, to identify sounds, and to walk; I personally prepared all his meals, from soft foods to solid foods; and I effortlessly instilled in him a love for vegetables and taught him to let us know when he needed to use the potty. It is clearly an example of a very young child who speaks, understands, and likes three languages: Spanish, English, and French.

Hello! My name is Itionna. I joined UrbanSitter because I understand how challenging it can be to find reliable care—whether for a child, senior, or pet. I’m here to offer a helping hand to fellow parents or caregivers in need of extra support. I have my own car and offer open, flexible availability. I bring extensive experience working with children with special needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech delays, and developmental delays. I’m also a proud mom to an amazing 6-year-old boy whom I homeschool. In our free time, we enjoy trips to Target, neighborhood walks, visits to the park, and outings to the zoo and aquarium. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your family! ☺️

Mia $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Mia. I graduated from Rutgers University, and as the oldest of five siblings, caring for others has always been a big part of who I am. I’ve helped care for my younger siblings since I was young, and I’ve spent years caring for children of all ages, from newborns to school-aged kids. My siblings even call me their second mom, which is one of the greatest compliments I could receive. I’m comfortable with feeding, nap and bedtime routines, homework help, activities, transportation, and creating a safe, positive environment where children can thrive. What I love most is building genuine connections with kids, celebrating their milestones, encouraging their growth, and being a dependable, caring presence in their lives. I also had the privilege of helping care for both of my grandparents, who lived to 90 years old. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of providing thoughtful support. I’m comfortable assisting with companionship, meal preparation, errands, and day-to-day senior care needs. In addition to childcare and senior care, I have experience as a household assistant and enjoy helping families keep their homes running smoothly. Whether it’s cooking, organizing, tidying up, grocery shopping, or running errands, I’m happy to help make daily life a little easier. I’m allergic to cats, but I’m very comfortable around dogs and would be happy to work with families who have them. I pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and easy to communicate with, and I look forward to supporting a family in whatever way they need most.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
